Frequently Asked Questions
What is a virtual tour?
A virtual Tour is a photographic image of an area, which enables the viewer to interact with it as if they were standing in the space. They can pan around in any direction or zoom in and out.
How are virtual tours used?
Virtual tours may be added to a website, used in presentations, provided to your customers via email or added to a disc to create an interative brochure.
What are the benefits of having a virtual tour on my website?
Tours are a marketing tool which gives you a clear advantage over your competition, by making the viewer feel as if they are acutally within the space you are promoting. This results in visitors to your website staying longer and a higher rate of interest and sales being generated from the site.
What preparation should I do before the shoot?
Prior to the time of the appointment the area to be photographed should be prepared and staged as the customer wishes it to appear on the virtual tour. We suggest you try to view the space objectively as a visitor would and arrange it accordingly. Proper and safe access to the area must be made available and it is your responibility to ensure there are no legal or physical hinderances to the carrying out of the photography.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in Preston, Lancashire, but our team of photographers cover the mainland UK and may be prepared to take on overseas assignments.
